Application Consultant for Sage Intacct

The Role:
The Resource Group Consultant will work directly with clients. Depending on experience and need, the responsibilities for this role will range from serving as a master consultant and project manager on large projects, to being responsible for specific aspects of a larger project and having full responsibility for smaller projects.

Compensation is a strong base, an aggressive commission plan, and a solid benefit package. Suitable candidates will have 3+ years’ experience with consulting or selling mid-market ERP systems, and the proven ability to “navigate to authority” to secure client engagements. Relocation assistance will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities (depending on experience)

  • Investigates, analyzes, and identifies key business requirements and issues.
  • Researches solution alternatives by assembling, organizing, and summarizing findings.
  • Serves as project manager on larger projects and may direct the work of other consultants.
  • Provides input to the change management, issues tracking, risk management and communications plan for the project.
  • Assists in developing test plans, task sheets and ensures solutions are tested and performed according to the specifications.
  • Identifies potential software development work that can improve client’s processes.
  • Produces end-user and requirements documentation, when requested.
  • Leads user training of the new solution implemented within the client environment.
  • Supports the sales team by assisting with demonstrations, doing discovery, and providing estimates.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Sage Intacct consultant, or 3+ years with another cloud-based ERP solution.
  • Willingness to travel out of town to clients at least 25% of the time.
  • Ability to work with C-level executives (client facing).
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.


  • CPA license or past position as controller/CFO.
  • Knowledge of software companies and revenue recognition rules.
