R2 2019 Sage Intacct Release

Release Date:  May 17, 2019

Sage Intacct has announced the feature improvements for the R2 2019 software update scheduled for roll-out by end of day, Friday, May 17th. This release is packed with new tools and enhanced functionality, including: 

  •  Ability to disallow direct journal entries to core, sub-ledger GL accounts, keeping balances aligned 
  •  Separation of duties with new, multiple permission assignments for the new Bank Reconciliation tool 
  • More posting flexibility with transaction definitions in Order Entry and Purchasing 
  • New flexible definition capabilities for the General Ledger Dynamic Allocations module 
  • Continued improvements for Action UI users – make the switch today!

Inventory
Inventory is building on the landed costs feature, which calculates the total price of a product after it arrives at your door including all acquisition costs. It's now possible to more accurately reflect costs for the current period. You can record estimated landed costs for a purchase and then link the actual costs to that estimate. You gain greater insight into your inventory costs, planning for those costs, and tracking how they tie back to your original estimates. 

Bank Reconciliation
The brand new reconciliation process provides a streamlined user experience that provides improved support for higher-volume reconciliations and makes importing, matching, and reconciling your bank statement a simple, quick, and easy task. In addition, you get the flexibility of searching, filtering and sorting to enable drill down on a granular level, and page pagination that enables acting on transactions across multiple pages. 

Dynamic Allocations
Allocations are often complex, time-consuming entries to split or shift amounts within entities. Sage Intacct has added more options to streamline the overall allocation process including the ability to create and generate group allocations, which enable you to process several allocations that run on the same interval, such as month end, with a single click.

Sage Intacct Action
Action is now our primary UI, with a focus on efficiency, personalization, and innovation to drive productivity and growth across your organization. Access new features available only in Action, such as our Interactive Custom Report Writer, Global Consolidations, Pay Bills, and with this release, Bank Reconciliation, and more.
